Solar Sales Consultant
Position Requirements:
- Excellent communicator who is articulate and confident working with home owners
- Self motivated individual who understands the sales process and ability to meet requirements
- Experience working in a quota driven sales position
- Completely tech savvy – Microsoft Office, IP phone systems, and salesforce.com (or similar CRM Applications)
- Must have a reliable source of transportation; own a laptop and a tablet
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and drug screen
Position Responsibilities:
- Generate sales leads at company sponsored trade shows and events
- Qualify and close sales leads provided by home office
- Experience Analyzing home owner’s needs and feasibility of investment
- Generate proposals and contracts
- Consult with clients about our solar and standby energy solutions
- Negotiate contracts and close sales for solar electrical systems and standby generators
- Log all activity in CRM system for tracking and reporting purposes
Solar Team Lead
Reports to Partner, Provisioning Services and is supervised on the job site by the Provisioning Team Leader.
This individual must have completed at least 10 residential solar installations (including the installation of composition mounts and solar panels).
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the complete PV Solar installation process including, but not limited to:
- Proficient layout of mounting systems, including calculations required to determine spans between penetrations and cantilevers
- Ability to make calculation and executed field adjustments to system layout
- Basic understanding of electrical components and ability to identify potential issues
- Thorough understanding and strong skills in the carpentry and/or roofing trade
Solar Installer
Demonstrates a basic to intermediate understanding of the complete PV Solar installation process including, but not limited to:
- The layout of mounting systems, including calculations required to determine spans between penetrations and cantilevers
- Basic understanding of electrical components and ability to identify potential issues
- Thorough understanding and strong skills in the carpentry and/or roofing trade
- Basic to intermediate understanding of the PV Installation process, including measurement and layout of composition mounts, installation and quality assurance of composition mounts and the installation of PV Solar Panels
Mechanic/Technician
Demonstrates a basic understanding of the construction trade and has basic knowledge of the PV Solar installation process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Packing/inventorying/unpacking Van
- Organizing all materials prior to starting work
- Assembly of work site equipment including Ladder Lift if needed
- Work with Provisioning Team Lead to properly deliver equipment and supplies to roof area (or installation site if Ground Mount system)
- Work with Provisioning Team Lead and electrician to properly install PV Solar panels
- Maintaining a clean work environment throughout the installation process
- Ensure that work site is thoroughly cleaned and swept prior to departure each day
- Remove and properly dispose of trash and recyclables
